The Air Jordan and Air Force 1 (One) fusion line will soon introduce the Air Jordan Force AJF 3 (III). This Air Jordan Force AJF 3 (III) is set to make its debut on in July! This particular version: Air Jordan Force AJF 3 (III) - White / Metallic Silver - Black / Varsity Maize is set to hit stores in July alongside other color-ways at a retail of $150. This particular color-way is a spin off of the Air Jordan 3 (III) Retro - Flip (White / Chrome - Black). As of right now we don’t have an exact release date.

Along with the three previous colors we mentioned, Jordan Brand is releasing the Air Jordan Flight 23 White / Metallic Silver - Stealth - Orange Peel. They are part of the the Air Jordan Flight 23 Pack, and feature a white leather upper with orange accents. they are set to release on May 10, 2008, alongside the rest of the colorways.

Here is a detailed look at the Nike Air Max 90 Jon Burgerman - Metallic Blue/Orange designed by British artist Jon Burgerman. They were recently spotted in a Netherlands shoe store and seem to be a Europe only release so far.

We just featured the Air Jordan Flight 23 - White - Blue Ribbon, which is apart of the Air Jordan Flight 23 Pack, and wanted to bring you guys another colorway included in the package, which are the Air Jordan Flight 23 - Black - Bright Cactus. They feature a black leather upper with green accents, as well as a metallic silver Jumpman and lacing eyelets. They are also set to release on May 10, 2008, so be on the lookout for them, as they feature a nice, simple, and clean appearance.

Jordan Brand is set to release a pack of the Flight 23’s, which includes some nice, clean colorways, including this white / blue /red colo scheme. The design is classic, with different aspects from various numbered Air Jordans, and along with a nice colorway, help make a winning combination. They are set to release on May 10, 2008, but some pairs have already hit ebay and Nikestore.

Here we feature a pair of Nike Court Force Low, which were inspired by Native American blankets and other forms of clothing. They are part of Nike’s Native American inspired collection, which is releasing throughout the Spring. We featured the Nike Court Force High Mexican Blanket Pack a while back, and are now showing these off. They feature a large Nike logo which folds over the tongue in a very blanket-like fashion.

We have been showing you the upcoming Reebok x Monopoly line up, here is another pair that can be added to the list: Reebok Reverse Jam Mid - Monopoly Money. They are obviously inspired by the funny looking Monopoly Money comes in all sorts of different colors. The color-way features shades from all the bills: $1 , $5, $10, $50, $100 and $500 but the most prevalent one is definitely the bright orange $500 bill. They are set to hit Reebok stores during August 2008.

Here is a preview of the latest creation from the RoyalFam: SBTG Daddy Mayhem Air Force 1 (One) Customs. They are labeled as the Daddy Mayhem and feature urban camo, army green, black and a clever hint of white behind the Nike Swoosh to create a wonderful contrast. Here are some pictures of the Nike WMNS Court Force High - Air Max 90 inspired. They are probably going to release sometime during the middle of this month. They feature a white upper along with solar red and bright teal accents. Watch out for them, as retailers should start selling them on April 19th. Via ATMOS

A few days ago we featured the Custom Raphael Puma Sneakers - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) by Briezrs. Here is another hot pair of customs from the same lab: Custom Puma Sneakers - Pixelation by Briezrs once again. The idea is inspired by pixels on your monitor as any picture you zoom into, you will see a similar pixel effect. This particular pair features bright vibrant shades of green along with a black make up. via Briezrs

Atmos has just announced that three colorways for the Nike Vintage Canvas Vandal High will be dropping, including black, green, and white colorways. They are set to release in late April. They feature solid colored, canvas uppers, along with bright yellow accents, and a beige midsole. Via Atmos

Nike is set to release their Diamond Pack, which feature two pairs of Court Forces for the ladies. The high top version features a gold colorway, while the low top features a silver Court Force. Nike is set to release several Euro Champs colorways and models, including Court Force, Air Max, and now the Nike Dunk High and Low. Here we feature the Nike Dunk High Euro Champs - Sweden, which features a simple blue and yellow colorway constructed from leather and patent leather. You can expect the Euro Champ collection to be released around April 21st at select Nike retailers.

Vans continues to step up their game by releasing new models and colorway constructed from various materials and colors. Here we feature the Vans Sk8 Hi using Croc skin as well as perforated leather.The croc skin give the shoe a smooth, classy, and casual appearance. They also feature gold accents which adds a bit of flashiness to them. Via Crisone.

Here we feature a new Nike athletic inspired shoe which is great for everyday use, and is entitled the Nike Santa Cruise. They strongly resemble the Nike Dunk Low, and feature a durable leather upper with a rubber outsole made for traction and great grip. These feature a white / varsity red colorway, and are a great deal for $64.99. They are now available on Eastbay.

Nike has released the Nike Zoom Lebron V - Chirst The King, which Nike along with LeBron James both sponsor, which is located in Queens, New York. They have received their own colorway, which features a white leather and burgundy patent leather construction. They are available to the public for the first time at Nike’s House of Hoops in Harlem, but only 40 pairs were released to the public, so they are most likely all gone. Via Nice Kicks

Nike is set to release the Nike Dunk SB Mid - Clubber Lang sometime in April. They have been dubbed the Clubber Langs after Rocky Balboaâ€™s enemy in Rocky III, played by Mr. , and inspired by George Foreman during his early career. The shoes feature the same colorway as Clubber Langâ€™s boxing shorts and belt. Make sure you head out and get a look at these for yourself, and check your local Nike SB retailers for them.

We posted about these Nike Court Force High - Air Max 95 Inspired back in February but finally we have more info. The Nike Court Force High - Air Max 95 - Neon Green Inspired will start hitting stores in April. They will be releasing alongside the Air Max Inspired Air Force One. There seem to be many Nike Court Force releases on the horizon as Nike seems to have set its concentration on this particular model. One thing is for sure, the Nike Court Force is sure to see some publicity and love from collectors with classic / original colors like these.

We saw a preview of the Nike Air Raid Retro - Summer 2008 Sneak Peak back in october. Here is a detailed look at the Nike Air Raid Retro - Black / Medium Grey - White which are now available in select boutiques around the nation. Tinker Hatfield was the designer of Nike Air Raid. It features a white / clay blue . tart / granite colorway, which blends really well and is an overall good look. Here is a preview of the Nike Dunk High - Mr. T (A-Team) which is another House of Hoops exclusive! This pair was exclusive to “House of Hoops” which is a collaboration store between Nike & Footlocker. This store is located in Harlem, New York (NYC). This pair is limited to 84 pairs only and sold out 1 hour after it’s initial release. The Nike Dunk High - Mr. T (A-Team) is made in tribute to Mr. T from the A-Team adventure series.

Here we present the Nike 6.0 Dunk Low - Journey’s Exclusive, who have been known in the past to feature a few colorways that are exclusive to them. The front half of the shoe, as well as the midsole feature a black color scheme while the back half features a bright, metallic silver colorway. The heel tab features some hot pink, and the outsole features a clear bottom. They are now available on the Journey’s website, but haven’t shown up in stores yet. via SN.

Here comes part 2 of the YO! MTV Raps x Puma collaboration. This one is featured on a Puma suede, which features a soft grey upper, along with Yo! MTV Raps emblems, and red stitching along the Puma logo. The inner lining also features a unique design with a red and white color scheme. They are not as nice as round , but none the less, still a good look. via TSG.

SOME HOT NEW KICKS!

Like the rest of the series, the “Ice Blue” has been redesigned to feature better materials and provide for a more comfortable experience. It features a premium leather black toe and eyestay with an icy blue body. The Dunk High Premium also features Zoom Air in the heel.

I'm pretty excited about the color blocking on this shoe. By using the same color on the upper beneath the stripe, it dramatically alters a very tried and true style into almost a completely different style. I could take or leave the skyline, but it’s certainly not so much of a distraction that it ruins the shoe. With that said, the last I checked, five other teams won the title in the 70’s, so where is that Milwaukee Bucks pair? These shoes are available now at Puma stores, as well as Shoebiz, Sportie LA, and Karmaloop right now.

Asics is still running with the Patta hype for the Gel Lyte III. Since then the Gel Lyte III has been highly sought after. The new GLI III Colorway features a mixture of royal blue, yellow, black, and white.

This colorway is the February release for the Gel Lyte III. Now available at select Asics accounts. ATL heads can get a pair right now at Laced up.

This pair of Dunks is inspired by the cover art to the epic Guns N’ Roses album Appetite For Destruction. Perhaps that’s the secret here, since even the washed up Axl of today would mop the floor with Nickelback. It’s too bad they didn’t take inspiration from the original cover though. Demons attacking a robotic rapist? That’s timeless.

Here’s a nice pair of Classic SB’s in a maroon and flat gold color scheme. I’ll say it over and over again - this is one of the most slept on retro shoes, SB or otherwise, out there right now. SB comes up with consistently clean colorways on a very simple and comfortable shoe, but nobody is interested!? I’m glad to see a leather model this time around instead of the seemingly standard suede.

Following the lead of the Appetite for Destruction Dunk, here is a high top taking visual cues from Motley Crue’s Dr. Feelgood. This is a little more adventurous but something about these is really appealing to me. I’d much rather deal with fake reptile skin than fake fur like we’ve seen recently. The darker green helps to break the shoe up quite a bit.

The carolina blue Zoom Harbor is a pretty strong colorway, but something still doesn’t sit right with me about Harbors. Maybe it’s seeing a vulcanized sole on a Nike shoe, I don’t know. This model is definitely more geared towards a core skate crowd which will likely drift towards a similar shoe from Vans or Lakai.

Here is a picture of the Lacoste Missouri 85: Croc Embossed, which we posted about a while ago. They are a collaboration with Lacoste and SneakerFreaker, and feature a great design. They feature a leather upper, mesh toe box and suede panels along with a nifty crocodile embossed pattern on the quarter panels. SOME HOT NEW KICKS!

Since its original release in 1989, The Nike Air Flight ‘89 has been released in some interesting and eye catching colorways. It has been overlooked for the past couple of years, but is back with a vengeance. Sneakerheads always make the close comparisons between the air Flight ‘89 and the Air Jordan 4 (IV), but this “Oreo” colors seals the deal. It highly resembles the black and cool grey Air Jordan 4 (IV), dubbed “Oreo”. This shoe resembles it closely minus the patent leather. They are available now at select Nike accounts and retail for $92.

Nike has recently released the Nike Womens Court Force High / Blazer Low Classic Bambi package. Both shoes feature brown and pink colorways wit spotted animal fur, inspired by the Disney character Bambi. The Nike Court Force features much more of the spotted fur, and even has a denim look going on the tongue. DREWREPORTS.COM INTERVIEW SERIES: HBO'S THE WIRE GBENGA AKINNAGBE

This versatile, exceptional actor was a regular on the Showtime comedy series “Barbershop”, based on the hit movie of the same name. But it’s his role as a callous assassin Chris Paltrow on HBO’s critically acclaimed series “The Wire” that has presented Akinnagbe with the most accolades thus far. “The Wire”, a complex crime-drama that takes place in the hazardous streets of Baltimore, is considered by many critics to be not only the best show on television today, but perhaps one of the preeminent programs in the history of American television.

Dr. Drew caught up with the pliable actor to expound more on his blossoming career, the upcoming fifth and final season of the wire and the stirring world of hip-hop.

THE INTERVIEW

Dr. Drew: What would you say was your first break in acting?

Gbenga: Getting selected for a role at the Shakespeare Theater in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Drew: You are originally from DC?

Gbenga: Yes. I grew up in Maryland in Montgomery County and was born in Washington D.C. My whole family is actually from Nigeria.

Dr. Drew: How did you get the part of Chris Patrow on The Wire?

Gbenga: Having started acting in the Washington D.C. area, a lot of the casting directors knew me. I came up to New Jersey and I received a call to come in to audition for “The Wire”. I was first given a different role of “Slim Charles” and I took it. Soon after I had a conflict and I was unable to take the role. About a month or so later, I received another call from the casting directors asking me to take the role of “Chris”.

Dr. Drew: Was it a conflict of interest with Showtime since you were shooting both the Barbershop and The Wire closely adjacent to each other?

Gbenga: I was fortunate. I was leading both shows. You are not supposed to do that. I was given permission to come back and film the 4th Season of the Wire, even though that was the first show I started I was still contractually obligated to Showtime.

Dr. Drew: Were you acquainted or socializing with any real-life “corner boys” when you were coming up in the DC suburbs?

Gbenga: (Laughs) I grew up in Montgomery County in a neighborhood close to Rosemary Hills. There would be fighting between those two neighborhoods on a frequent basis. It was a poor neighborhood with a horrible economy. I was fortunate to never be involved directly with those types of activities.

Dr. Drew: Do you receive love randomly from people who actually lives the life that The Wire so accurately portrays? Have there been any criticisms?

Gbenga: All day! When people see their story being told in a respectful way they become emotionally involved and they are very appreciative of it. People stopped me all the time. Whether they live that particular life or not they always tell me that they respect what we do. 95 Percent of what you see on “The Wire” has actually happen to a lot of people who are still alive or in jail. A few of them come in and consult or play a small role on the show.

What can we expect from your character in the fifth and final season of The Wire?

Gbenga: It will be live! Going back from last season and all the different forces that were happening on the show, you will definitely see more levels of Chris as you did in the fourth season. One of the great benefits about being on The Wire is that no one stays at one particular level. No one is all good or all bad on the show.

Dr. Drew: You’re chemistry with Jamie Hector (Marlo Stanfield) and Felicia Pearson (Snoop) is truly authentic. Are any of you close friends off camera?

Gbenga: There’s a lot of chemistry there. When we get together we have a great time. On the regular I hang out with Jamie Hector who plays Marlo. It’s funny because we’re always together on the show. Snoop (Felicia Pearson) and I are always together on the show. When I’m not with Jamie, I’m with Snoop on the show. When I’m in Maryland Snoop and I hang out. But Jamie and I… that’s my boy…like we’re real tight.

Dr. Drew: Your character on The Wire is a complete contrast from the character you previous played on Showtime’s The Barbershop. What type of preparation was required for you to portray your Chris Patrow character so authentically?

Gbenga: Chris is coming from a much darker place than my character Yinka on the Barbershop series. He is actually coming from a much darker place then most people. We all have places but it might not be as dark as Chris’s place. It just about finding and nourishing that. It’s also about staying true. Chris does not do anything particularly gangster or bad ass, he just tries to get whatever job or goal that needs to be done. These are just the ways that he knows how to get his tasks completed. If I see it that way and not judge him then it will be easier to let him live.

Dr. Drew: How do you feel about The Wire not being nominated for an Emmy?

Gbenga: It’s an interesting phenomenon. Really good shows often times get past up when it comes to that type of recognition. The Wire was not only received positively by the people but the critics acknowledge and understood the different levels of the show. They see how much goes into making the show so real. The Wire is truly not like anything else you see on television. It’s not an easy making a show of that caliber. It’s almost too good for commercial type of success. However, it is unfortunate that the two couldn’t be married at some point. As far as the Emmy’s or the Golden Globe’s or any other award institutions it’s all a very interesting thing. That’s all I can say! Maybe we weren’t nominated because it wasn’t film in New York or LA, or the creators of the show don’t do the whole Hollywood thing or perhaps the perception of the show being just another black show. It’s not a black show. They don’t see the great deal in textures and layers that are visible in the show. Maybe when they tune in to watch and saw more then 3 black faces they became guarded.

Dr. Drew: Who are your musical influences?

Gbenga: I am big fan of Talib Kweli, Most Def and a British artist named Streets. In the Hip-Hop world however, there has been a lot of disappointment as of late.

Dr. Drew: Which CD would you or did you buy, Kanye West or 50 Cent?

Gbenga: Truth of the matter is I have not brought either one. I heard a couple tracks of Kanye West though.

Dr. Drew: Any new projects we should know about?

Gbenga: I am in a play in New York City called “A view from 151 Street” at the Public Theater starting in the first week of October. I am also in the upcoming motion picture entitled “The Savages”, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney which is due out in theaters soon.

THE INTERVIEW

Dr. Drew: My first question for you is why would you come out now with these revealing accusations… is this MONEY driven?
David aka Dbrad: Hey man, why not! I think people should get angry. If more people got angry about stuff we would not see so much bullshit happening. I am not a materialistic dude like that. When I first started at BET, I was making like $50,000 a year. Which was more then any of my parents ever saw. Then my salary before I left was $97,000 per year. I am not materialistic man! For anyone to debate why I should come out with this then they are obviously dummies. If you cannot see, what is going on around you then something is definitely wrong. More people should come out and speak about this. Believe me or not I am getting a lot of support. Trust me, I had no clue that I was working for a dude like that!
Dr. Drew: Is a lawsuit pending?
David aka Dbrad: NO. This is a spiritual war that I am battling.
Dr. Drew: If there is no lawsuit, do you think it will be hard for you to be believable on your claim without hardcore evidence?
David aka Dbrad: Man… Dr. Drew, I am just standing up for mines. The rest of them lames can sit there and get their ass kick by the corporation. I do not get down like that. I‘m not built like that!
Dr. Drew: What is your occupation now?
David aka DBRAD: I am an independent filmmaker. I write screenplays. Alxter Crawley Project is my production company.
Dr. Drew: One thing that stood out when I watch the video that will now be infamous in “that” company’s history was you being hire over the phone. Are you serious?
David aka Dbrad: Yeah. I submitted my resume. I received a call from Mrs. Pernella, which lead to her offering me the job over the phone. She gave me the job right there. I was asked to start in three days.
Dr. Drew: When was your last day/month working at BET.?
David aka DBRAD: February or March 2006
Dr. Drew: So it has been a good year since you were at that company?
David aka DBrad: Yeah…. a good year.
Dr. Drew: How well do you know Rap City’s most infamous host Big Tigger?
David aka Dbrad: I respect the hell out of him business wise. I do not know him personally.
Dr. Drew: You take responsibility for several artists rise to fame. If we were to contact them today, what do you think they would say about you?
David aka Dbrad: They would not have much to say. The job of the producer is to be behind the scenes. It was never my job to call Eve and say, “Yo I am playing your video.” It was my job to produce the show. I have a very strong love for Hip-Hop. I never hung out with Eve or Dipset. I just open up the door visually for these artists and they ran through it.
Dr. Drew: Are you saying, as associate producer, that you had total control of what videos were played?
David aka Dbrad: Yes/ not total but a major say
Dr. Drew: So did you intentionally hinder southern artists from getting their video plays because of you bias for your favorite rappers.
David aka Dbrad: You know what…I apologize for that. If I ever could meet Ludacris face to face, I will apologize for not playing his record. That first song he came out with I just did not like it. But obviously, he didn’t and doesn’t need me.
Dr. Drew: No offense, but it seems to me like you are an unofficial member of Dipset?
David aka Dbrad: Look, I am proud of them! I do not judge others, man. They are not out there in the streets killing people or doing any harm. Cam has always showed respect.
Dr. Drew: Did Cam'ron aka (Mr. Immature) and you go to Chucky Cheeses together (lol)?
David aka Dbrad: No, man. I don’t know what Cam’ron did to you, but Cam’ron has always been cool with me.
Dr. Drew: Ok, let us focus back on this interview. In your opinion, what was the best performance in the booth that you ever heard?
David aka Dbrad: LL COOL J
Dr. Drew: You also said 106 and Park is rigged.
David aka Dbrad: Yea yall fools calling there voting. They dictate everything.
Dr. Drew: Did you ever work on the 106 and Park production side? How well did you know AJ and Free?
David aka Dbrad: No. Rap City and 106 and Park were two separate entities. However, the whole freestyle Friday idea we thought of. I do however, think Free is a talented woman and would have love to work with her.
Dr. Drew: For you to say your “Former Employer” helped killed HIP-HOP, to me that is a strong statement.
David aka Dbrad: Yeah man. Everybody in the music industry knows it! It is one person who decides everything! Imagine if you were able to control what we saw from 8AM-10PM! It went right through you. If you said no then it did not go.
Dr. Drew: Your allegations against your former Superior were alarmingly strong. Without hard-core evidence, do you feel that once again it will be tough for others to believe you?
David aka Dbrad: What I am saying about my former boss is that he can be manipulative and narcissistic. Let me tell you something Dr. Drew, I do not get along with bullies. I was a little skinny kid growing up! I had this one bully who used to always mess with me and push me around. One day, I stood up to my bully by letting him know that you are not going to take my lunch money no more and he told me that’s all he was trying to get me to do. I never forgot that lesson. Because one day Dr. Drew, I’m going to be hungry again! And guess what? Him and I will have to get it on! Is not my fault he runs with “that” crew! I am telling you Man that is a known secret about him! He is notorious for that. I can pull some skeletons, boy… that will have some kats angry with me! Another thing, with this whole situation going down currently, this has giving me somewhat of sensitivity to women and sexual harassment. Man, when someone of a certain authority comes to you in a sexual manner, it can be fuck up for a weaker person. I have to think to my self like D you bugging. No nigga you not bugging! I feel bad for women!
Dr. Drew: When will your DVD be release?
David aka Dbrad: That information will be release later. However, we will definitely let you know.
Dr. Drew: Will a book be coming out alongside the DVD?
David aka Dbrad: Maybe
Dr. Drew: Do you have any final comments?
David aka Dbrad: People shouldn’t be afraid to defend what is theirs and others who don’t stand up should move out of the way and not make such a big deal when someone does. I will also like to thank you Dr. Drew for this Interview!
